A story that has lasted since 1955

For more than 60 years, RISO SALSA has been operating in the field of its specialization since January 1955, when it was established by Messrs Dellavalle, Dell'Oro and Germanini as an Italian-Swiss company with the aim of guaranteeing the Swiss market: the three founders, relying on their experience, since they had already been working on their own in the specific field, and were committed to leading the initiative to a fair level of qualification, succeeding in their intent.

In 1961, Mr. Adriano Salsa decided to mention the summons of Messrs Dell'Oro and Germanini, then in 1965 those of Mr. Dellavalle, thus remaining the sole owner of the company that is moving towards increasingly prestigious and flattering goals.

In 2004 the family business became RISO SALSA, continuing the work of refining high quality rice.

Between the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 RISO SALSA will obtain FSA certification on sustainable agriculture and IFS to guarantee food hygiene and safety.

Riso Salsa has successfully established itself in both the domestic and foreign markets.

The factory

The plant covers a total area of 4,550 square meters. The rice production process, from its origin to the packaging, is carried out internally, working exclusively with Italian rice, through the use of latest generation machinery such as the optical sorter and metal detector (for removing iron residues) and the whitening machine they guarantee a high quality product, genuine and whole. Riso Salsa is equipped with raw rice paddy storage silos and storage silos for worked white rice.

Certifications: HACCP and Traceability of rice

Rice is sold in Italy and abroad in bulk, in Big Bag 1,000 / 1250 kg, bags of 2 - 5 - 25 and 50 Kg and packs of 1 Kg in a protective atmosphere (packaging that guarantees the nutritional and organoleptic qualities of rice).

Riso Salsa works many varieties of Italian rice, each with very specific characteristics, which lend themselves to the preparation of risottos, salads, soups, timbales, soups and desserts.
